Tai chi embodies the ancient, and often over-simplified, concepts of universal duality, (yin and yang). It teaches us to seek balance and harmony, both internally and externally, between opposing forces - strength and softness, movement and stillness, effort and relaxation. It also shows how strength can be found in our apparnet weaknesses, and the vulnerability of supposed strengths.
Through practice, we learn to apply these principles not just in movement, but in all aspects of life, creating a path to greater wisdom, efficiency, power, and inner peace.
